1) What these Terms cover (and how they relate to others)

These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of beatacne.ai and any pages we operate that link to these Terms (the “Site”).

If you create an account or use our software/app (the “Service”), your use of the Service is also governed by our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there’s a conflict, the Terms of Service control for the Service.

2) Not medical advice

Content on the Site is for general informational purposes only and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. For medical questions, contact a licensed clinician. Do not use the Site or Service for emergencies.

3) Acceptance & eligibility

By accessing the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Site. The Site is intended for individuals 13+ (or the age of digital consent where you live). If you’re under that age, a parent/guardian must consent.

The Site and its content (text, graphics, logos, UI, software, photos, videos) are owned by BeatAcne.ai or its licensors and are protected by IP laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, create derivative works, reverse engineer, or exploit the Site except as permitted by law.

5) Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

Use bots/scrapers, crawl, mine, or harvest data without written permission.

Frame, mirror, or deep-link to the Site in ways that imply endorsement.

Upload or transmit malware, interfere with security or access controls, or overload our infrastructure.

Post unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, or harmful content.

Use the Site to build a competing product or to reverse engineer features.

We may suspend or block access if we believe you’ve violated these Terms.

6) Your submissions (forms, waitlist, feedback)

If you submit information to the Site (e.g., waitlist email, survey responses, feedback):

You represent it’s accurate and you have the right to provide it.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use it solely to operate, communicate about, and improve the Site and Service.

Marketing consent: If you opt-in, we may email or message you about early access, updates, and offers; you can opt out anytime.

Research consent: If you separately consent, we may contact you for short surveys/interviews.

Do not upload photos or health information to the waitlist form unless we explicitly ask for it with proper consent.

7) SMS/email; electronic communications

By providing contact details, you consent to receive emails (and SMS if you opt in) about your submissions and early access. Message/data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time (email footer or “STOP” for SMS). You agree to receive electronic communications and that these satisfy any legal requirements for written communications.

8) Third-party links & embedded content

The Site may link to third-party sites or embed third-party content. We don’t control and aren’t responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Review their terms and privacy policies.

9) Intellectual property notices; trademarks; DMCA

“BeatAcne.ai” and associated marks are our trademarks. Third-party marks belong to their owners.

If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@beatacne.ai

(subject: “DMCA Takedown”) with: (a) your contact info; (b) description and URL of the work claimed infringed; (c) URL of the allegedly infringing material; (d) statement of good-faith belief; (e) statement under penalty of perjury of accuracy and your authority; (f) your physical or electronic signature. We may remove content and/or terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

10) Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We use cookies/SDKs for functionality and analytics. Manage preferences via our banner or your browser. We don’t sell personal information.

11) No warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED US $100.

Opt-out: You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first using the Site by emailing legal@beatacne.ai

with subject “Arbitration Opt-Out” and your name and email used on the Site.

If arbitration/class waivers aren’t enforceable where you live, disputes will be resolved in the courts of [Your County/State] or another venue required by law, and you waive objections to personal jurisdiction there.

15) Changes to the Site or these Terms
